Input table

Let people enter data straight into your dashboard, and chart it as it arrives.

Flitch is an AI BI tool that connects to Input table and turns your data into shareable dashboards. Some of what a dashboard needs has no source to connect. Targets, statuses, notes, the lists everything else is measured against. Flitch collects those in an input table: create one with the columns you want, or describe what you want to track and the dashboard is built with the entry built in, so anyone you share it with can add and edit rows and the charts move with them.

  • Nothing to connect: create the table in a click, or let Flitch create it
  • Add, edit and delete rows in the dashboard itself
  • People you share it with can enter data too
  • Every change is attributed and reversible
  • Chart it, or combine it with your connected data

How do you connect Input table to Flitch?

No setup. Flitch creates and stores the table for you.

Input table FAQ

What is an input table?

A table your dashboard collects rather than reads. It holds the data people type, and Flitch stores it for you, so there is no database to set up.

How do I create one?

Two ways. Add one under Data, naming the columns you want, and any dashboard in your space can collect into it. Or describe what you want to track when you build the dashboard, and Flitch creates the table and the entry controls together.

Who can add entries?

You can, from the dashboard or its Data tab. Anyone you share a published dashboard with can too, as long as they are signed in. Entries are never anonymous.

Can I chart the data people enter?

Yes. An input table is a dataset like any other, so you can chart it, combine it with connected sources, and read it from another dashboard.

What happens to entries when I change the dashboard?

They stay. Changing the dashboard, or even the table’s columns, does not remove rows people have entered, and every change is recorded with who made it.

How much can I store?

Every plan includes storage for data entry, and paid plans scale it per member. See pricing for the current allowance.
